Old Friends, Memory Brushes The Same Years, Silently Sharing The Same Fears

Hey Everyone!  I'm so sorry I've been slacking on post the past couple of weeks...I've been traveling and relaxing, and honestly, have just been enjoying doing nothing.  I even went a week without my computer (I know--UNHEARD OF!), but it was wonderful giving my mind and my eyes a break.

Although I don't come home very often, when I do, I love the chance to get together with old friends.  No one ever tells you how hard it is to keep in touch with people once you move away, and I've been fortunate enough to still be very close to many of my oldest friends.  And, even better--I've made many new ones over the years and have gotten to see ALL of them over the past two weeks.  So to LK, AP, AL, SS, HS, MR, and JS--if you're reading this, know that I love you all dearly, and know that nothing will ever come between us, especially distance!

Amelia and I--Because what better way to spend the day than at the zoo?!
